ARCHERY AT RANGE BURLINGTON

The Range Burlington archery range is registered as an affiliate club under Archery Ontario, is open all year, dawn to dusk, and is available for use by all members of Range Burlington.

The Burlington Rifle and Revolver Club is accepting new members to the archery section of Range Burlington. Successful completion of a safety briefing and range orientation is mandatory. The safety briefing and range orientation is available during supervised archery hours.

Applicants to the archery section are not required to be in possession of a firearm Licence, but access is limited to non-shooting areas of the Club.

The archery range is an outdoor range consisting of 3 lanes with a maximum distance of 40 meters with a high backstop. Compound or re-curve bows up to 70 lbs are allowed. Crossbows are allowed, but archers must use special targets, and obtain crossbow specific training. Broad- head arrows or bolts are not permitted. Archers are required to bring their own paper targets, and use non-metallic fasteners to attach targets to the backstop.

Supervised Discipline Hours

Sunday (weather permitting) from 11am to 1pm during summer months. Crossbows specific times are Sundays from 1pm to 3pm the first Sunday of every month.

Club Equipment for New Archers

Club bows are available upon request. We currently have NCCP trained coaches at the club that can help with new archers. Contact the archery team at brrc.archery@gmail.com to arrange the use of club equipment.
